take the band out of semi-retirement for a noisy, chaotic,
fast-paced Simpsons themed mini-album. I've been kind of enamored
with their goofy party-rock for a while now, where they undercut their
legitimate songwriting talent and musical proficiency by making the most
ridiculous music they possibly can. But that doesn't mean it isn't a lot of
fun to listen to. And again, these guys are legitimately talented and
making aesthetically interesting rock music,
it's just pushing the limits of goofiness."
